Victoria School of English is a small family-owned English language school in London with a maximum of about 60 students, situated close to Sloane Square in the beautiful and fashionable district of Chelsea - an ideal place to learn English. We opened in 1971, became accredited by the British Council for teaching English as a foreign language in 1983, and are a member of English UK. The school is located on the lower floor of a large Victorian house, situated in a quiet eighteenth-century terrace, 2 minutes walk from Sloane Square underground station in Travel Zone 1.
We are a small, professional organisation and over the years have established a reputation for excellent standards of teaching, combined with personal care and attention, as well as a truly warm and friendly atmosphere, all at sensible prices from £120 per week. Our classes are small, on average 8 students with a maximum of 12, so learning is intensive and your teacher really has time for you. Our English language classes are for adults and students from 16 years of age. A weekly programme of social activities and excursions is available and all students also have free Internet and email access.
We offer a wide range of English courses, including General English Language Courses, Business English, and IELTS preparation courses, and for Cambridge FCE and Cambridge CAE examinations. Naturally we also offer Private Tuition.
Thank you for an extremely interesting week at your school. English has never been so enjoyable for me. Thanks to my teachers. Camille always offers extraordinbary games for education & captivating subjects for discussions. Special thanks to Scott. He has very strong communication skills and he is also aware of business world. His ability to present subjects in an understandable way helps to involve into discussion each student. And of course, the atmosphere of school. It was very warm and friendly. I think it is very important, especially for foreign students.
