Victoria School of English is a small family-owned language school with a maximum of about 60 students situated in central London, close to Sloane Square in the beautiful and fashionable district of Chelsea - an ideal place to learn English.
We opened in 1971, became accredited by the British Council for teaching English as a foreign language in 1983, and are a member of English UK. The school is located in a large Victorian house, situated in a quiet eighteenth-century terrace, 2 minutes walk from Sloane Square underground station. We offer a wide range of English language courses, including General
English Courses, Business
English, and English for IELTS, and Cambridge
FCE and Cambridge
CAE examinations.
We are a small, professional organisation and over the years have established a reputation for excellent standards of teaching,
combined with personal care and attention, as well as a truly warm and friendly atmosphere, all at sensible prices
(from £ 95 per week).
For students who require accommodation, we can offer a wide range of options
to suit every budget including homestays, students
houses, student
residences and hostels from £ 66.50 per week. A weekly programme of social
activities and excursions is available and all students also have free
Internet and email access.
I enjoyed the time in London, especially in your friendly school. I met a lot of friendly and interesting
people. Many thanks to my very good and helpful teachers: Ben, Matt and Roo. It was a pleasure to meet them all and I learned a lot of things
like grammar, speaking and listening and of course, very helpful vocabulary for my job.
